Suggest trails, share discoveries, connect with seekers who travel the same way you do.
What this is
WYT doesn't have a corporate research team. Every trail in the directory came from someone who loved something deeply — a textile, a fort, a forest, a single malt — and followed it. If you know a trail that should be here, tell us.
Know a trail that deserves to be in the directory? Tell us — the name, the place, the operator if there is one, and why it matters.
Questions, recommendations, first-hand experiences. Connect with travellers who've been on trails you're considering.
Follow @WYT_WhatsYourTrail. Each post is a trail in the directory — one story, one image, one deep experience worth following.
Know a trail?
WYT curates, not creates. If you've discovered a trail — a walk, a journey, a deep experience — that you think belongs in the directory, tell us about it. We research every suggestion and, if it passes our curation standard, it goes in.
Trail Talk
Have a question about a trail? Looking for first-hand advice? Want to share what you found? The WYT community is small and serious — exactly the people you want to ask.
The WYT community is on WhatsApp and Instagram. Join to ask questions, share trail reports, and connect with fellow passion-led travellers.
On Instagram
@WYT_WhatsYourTrail on Instagram posts one trail at a time — one image, one story, one experience worth following. Every post links back to the full trail in the directory. Follow to discover trails you never knew existed.
For trail operators & guides
If you run a trail that's in the WYT directory, we'd love to feature it on Instagram. Write to us at hello.whatsyourtrail@gmail.com with your trail name and a high-resolution image. We don't charge for features — we curate them.
